The Butucarbin Family Wellbeing Service is a comprehensive approach encompassing prevention, early intervention, and ongoing support. The Service is dedicated to facilitating the empowerment and self determination of Aboriginal Families and Communities in the Blacktown Local Government Area. Our goal is to foster a holistic approach to wellbeing, the importance of Community & cultural connection, Individual and Family resilience. We strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where Families can thrive and overcome challenges together.

Family Capacity Building

Case management. Through assessment, planning, coordination, advocacy, and monitoring, ensuring that families receive comprehensive support to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Parenting Programs

Parents can enhance their parenting abilities, foster positive relationships with their children, and contribute to their families’ overall wellbeing. Parenting Workshops is a step toward building a brighter future for both parents and children.

Parenting Peer Support

For parents seeking emotional support, practical advice, and social connections. Being part of a parenting peer support group can enhance your parenting experience and help you build a strong, supportive network.

Kids Homework Hub

A supportive environment where Aboriginal children aged between 6-12 Years, can receive assistance with their schoolwork, fostering academic success, cultural activities and personal growth.

Offering service information, advice, guidance and warm referrals to parents who need support.
