To facilitate and coordinate relevant community programs and activities that contributes to the agency and support of the Aboriginal community – which include families, children, young people, older people and other individuals – as well as developing their skills knowledge and capacity to participate in community life in western Sydney. To inform the western Sydney Aboriginal community – which include families, children, young people, older people and other individuals – about relevant community services, activities, forums and events. To facilitate access to community services, forums, events and other activities – to which the Aboriginal community is eligible – by means of providing information, referrals and advocacy. To facilitate, coordinate and participate in a range of Aboriginal community infrastructure-building projects and activities that contribute to effective service provision to the western Sydney Aboriginal community – including Aboriginal families, children, young people, older people and other individuals. To obtain funding through grants or other fund raising strategies for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the organisation. Funding may be gained by means of subscriptions, donations, bequests, entertainment events and other functions, or by any other means. To undertake activities that provides relief of poverty, sickness, misfortune, distress or helplessness within western Sydney Aboriginal community and extending to the broader community. |
