Butucarbin’s Christmas Hampers 2021

In 2021, Butucarbin and Santa delivered over 100 Christmas hampers to families around the Mt Druitt community. We also wrapped over 200 Christmas presents for Aboriginal children that were personally delivered by Santa over 4 days.

We would like to thank the community of Blacktown LGA for their kind donations to the Mayoress Christmas appeal which Butucarbin was one of the 5 recipients.

Also a special thanks to the Blacktown Lions Club for their generous donations of Christmas food to contribute to the hampers.

Also thanks to the workers and volunteers who helped wrap the presents and packed the hampers.

Lastly a big thank you to Santa for putting a smile on everyone’s faces!

Butucarbin has been providing fresh fruit & vegetable boxes weekly to vulnerable Aboriginal families. This project has been funded by the Covid-19 Grant from DCJ until December. We have also been providing hygiene & pantry packs kindly donated by Kimberwali. All donations are welcome.
